You walk in.
I've imagined moments like this.
I've day dreamed of times where we would be in some ubiquitous room,
and we would be alone,
and I would say something romantic,
and you would kiss me like you never did.
You walk by.
I had a real dream that we got married in the sky.
The clouds had been transformed into air balloons,
and your chest started to glow as I said my vows,
and your eyes had stolen the key to the sky
along with all of its electricity on a saturday morning.
You sit down.
Next to me is where I want you to be at night.
I lay in bed, caressing the empty space next to me,
wondering if you think of me as much as I think about you,
knowing the answer is no,
but still entertaining the idea
still playing with the possibilities.
You smile at me.
Those eyes can bring me into another world.
A world where I can hold you as the weather shifts outside,
a world where you are the princess,
and I am the prince, a royal servent.
A world where I can erase the hurt you so carefully hide.
a world where we can both be genuinely happy.
My lips part.
I want to tell you all of this.
About how much I care,
and how much I love you.
I want to tell you how I spend every waking moment thinking about you,
dreaming about you.
The three words swell and inflate in my throat
and flaot up to the gate of my teeth,
forming at the wall of my lips.
I almost yeild to the emotions that
threaten to bring me to one knee,
but my brain is quick to react.
And the only thing that escapes my mouth
is an emotion injected
"Hey."

Literature
Well, I miss you...
I miss you because I hold you so dearly
You're mostly in my mind, but not because I worry
But because I miss the gentle voice that inspired my poems
The playful personality that cheered me up every moment
Your adorable ways, that would always warm my heart
How beautiful you are that you'd break the fourth wall
Your difference between girls, being real, not a thought
My heart was sad until here, you were brought
Because every time I go to sleep
I wish that you were here, laying down next to me
Hopefully, you feel the same
Because without you, I just can't stay sane
Literature
You're worth waiting for
Let’s take it slow, if you want us to grow
Our love is our gentle abode, and I just want you to know
That my patience is unknown, but for you, I will hold
I’ll just have to flow, and always remain with hope
Because much time has already passed
And a lot has happened, so sudden and fast
But with each moment, we get closer and forget the past
With each mistake, we start growing, with each, we understand
But now that patience is a big part of my life
I hope that one day, you'll also be mine
It could take a while, it could also be soon
But none of that really matters, because I truly belong to you
Literature
The Lie
It hides alone, buried, concealed
Mistrust, betrayal, never to be healed
A blemish on the human soul
Colder than ice and blacker than coal
The threads it weaves stay locked in place
Hiding the truth from many a face
And as it continues to defy
The truth is revealed
As is the lie

Just a little something I wrote, bored and frustrated in math class.
I'm not sure how to catergorize it. It was originally a poem, but I decided it was too long to be writwn in that format. Although it'll be the first not poetry format to be put into a poetry folder, but...
I don't know. Its a wolrd of peaches, but we all manage to make applesauce.
EDIT: I decided to put it back into poetry form. It looks a little more...well fed.
