I know you can taste me,
stale,
incompetent,
losing and finding hope
because I can taste you too.

Storm Ravaged Hope
Petals are a scatter
Across rain torn grass,
Vines caressing leaves
Fallen from bare trees
To the right, the garden
Holds a scene of crush -
Remains of rose petals
Create a scene of red
Shimmering beneath
Lightning strikes
One blood red petal fallen
For every death occurred
In this unknown village
But there in the midst
Lies a rose of black,
Drenched in sorrow
From its very tip
To the loose roots
Remained in the soil
A few darkened petals

1562 days, 11 hours, and 22 minutes,
you shouted
my name, but i didn't recognize you
until i saw your

At the cost of a single cut
What you don't see,
Are all those people
Left standing at your funeral
Trying to figure out
How they'll be able
To live in a world
Without you in it.
Yet you have the audacity to think
You could take something as important
As your life away from us,
To put our hearts at stake
And throw your life away
Because you can't take
The struggle of living.
What you don't see
Is that your life isn't yours,
It belongs to me
It belongs our mom and our dad
Your growing number of friends
And that girl you wish you had
Your life never belonged to you
It is a gift th

Those strings of lights of lovers, always gave mixed messages in different parts. Sometimes the chameleon chain went so quickly from one colour to another, even in the same second on the same wall, that I was left totally confused, marooned on desert islands in the great salty sea of my own accumulated teardrops under a stormy sky.
