write the time and how you're feeling.
do it every time, because
you won't ever get them again.
and they'll taunt you
if you don't kill them.
each letter, closely, has sharp edges
every shape ever seen is
a weapon so you
are capable,
of sliding these syllables across its neck,
watch it bleed out everything you
ever wanted to live on,
love, sorrow, condolence
see it and feel it and eat it
until you are full and until you realize
that even after writing yourself out
over 400 times
you
are still empty

Storm Ravaged Hope
Petals are a scatter
Across rain torn grass,
Vines caressing leaves
Fallen from bare trees
To the right, the garden
Holds a scene of crush -
Remains of rose petals
Create a scene of red
Shimmering beneath
Lightning strikes
One blood red petal fallen
For every death occurred
In this unknown village
But there in the midst
Lies a rose of black,
Drenched in sorrow
From its very tip
To the loose roots
Remained in the soil
A few darkened petals
To remember our losses,
But a living death
Meant for true hope

Faults and Regrets
Words are but a loss
When your mind
Is on a wander
Dreaming,
Caressing fantasies -
Simple fables,
But do we ever learn?
Love, hatred,
Contrast;
Muse.
We may win,
But we always
Lose.
Recover from mistakes
Repeat, repeat,
End -
Endless cycles
That are
To our routine
And yet,
What are words
But a loss
To wandering minds?
Where they go,
Where they hide -
What they see,
What they felt -
And our muse
Continues,
Always the same
Memory,
But always
A different

Death Doesn't Happen To You
Your death doesn't happen to you
No, you get peace for eternity
At the cost of a single cut
What you don't see,
Are all those people
Left standing at your funeral
Trying to figure out
How they'll be able
To live in a world
Without you in it.
Yet you have the audacity to think
You could take something as important
As your life away from us,
To put our hearts at stake
And throw your life away
Because you can't take
The struggle of living.
What you don't see
Is that your life isn't yours,
It belongs to me
It belongs our mom and our dad
Your growing number of friends
And that girl you wish you had
Your life never belonged to you
It is a gift th
