What comes to mind when you hear the name, Aisha?
I see a thinly sharp girl with exotic, dark skin, commanding brown eyes, and raven black hair. She's so in tune with what she does and how she does it. This might come from her ability to seemingly sync herself with her saxophone. she's used to having that kind of instrumental control in life. She has a bold leadership, that will often land her a string of management jobs in the retail field, and she is okay with that. Her eyes see far, and she is not worried about the future. She plans her life week by week, which can sometimes cause her to do things on impulse or spontaneously. She is almost always a pleasant surprise, running into old mates at jazz bars or coffee shops and most certainly meeting new people wherever she goes. She is airy and aloof, which makes her sometimes come off as distant and unattainable, but this is not the case at all. She is just not stationary like people would like her to be. She is always on the move, and those that are willing to move with her find that she is a brilliant, dapper, charming young girl who is always ready to take you on a zealous adventure.
I want to meet Aisha, because she is the missing link in everyone's life. Her heart would be bright and open like her smile, and her general positivity would combust so beautifully with my sometimes dour sarcasm.

Escape
I'm an escapist. 90% of the things I do, I do them for the purpose of mentally escaping certain thoughts, situations and emotions. And realizing this sucks.
Not that i don't do the things the I do for the fun of it anymore, but now I'm just always asking myself "Are you escaping? Are you escaping?" now nothing is really a true escape anymore.
maybe this is right though. "escape" is just another word for running away
You're the best!
Around. Nothing's ever gonna keep you down!
somewhere
I've fallen in love with the idea of infinite, multiple universes. A world created for every decision made and every decision not made. If this is true, i don't have to wish anymore, or hope or dream or want for anything. While I suffer here, somewhere else I am okay. Somewhere I am who I want to be, I have what i want to have, and I am whole. somewhere
Anywhere but here
Pro Wrestling
I tried out for pro wrestling today. Spontaneous, I know.
I am in excruciating pain but it's honestly no different from the pain I experienced in high school greko-roman style wrestling. (although the two styles are nothing alike)
All in all, it went pretty well but I am ready to sleep for a few decades and drink oceans of water.
More poems coming later today or tomorrow. Thank you for reading, and hopefully in a few months I can say thank you for WATCHING. ;)
